Nishiki Barbarian

Nishiki Barbarian

Rigid mountain bike plus smooth center tread hybrid tires equals a bike that can take on the roads almost as efficiently as a road bike while being more steady where the road is less than perfect, on gravel, or wherever off the beaten path leads. This chromoly classic is in excellent condition, with a rear rack and fender for added urban utility, and a forward riding position to ensure more power to the pedal.

Size 17” frame will fit riders in the 5’4” to 5’7” range, especially those with a proportionately long torso

26” x 2.125” all terrain tires on alloy rims.

Available for $335 at Bike Edmonton.

When in the market for used goods, some people look for pristine, unused condition, which is fine if you are buying something to set on a shelf and look at. But if you are seeking a bike that you want to ride a lot, then you may miss the best choices by overlooking the one with the scratches and scuffs of a previous life well used and loved. To resurrect this frame, we had to replace pretty much every part that could wear out. And now it’s ready, scuffs and all, for a new life of all terrain adventure.

Size 16” frame will fit riders in the 5’5” to 5’8” range.

26” x 2.1” offroad tires on double wall alloy rims.

Available for $385 at Bike Edmonton.
